Myofascial Release is a fantastic compliment to any yoga, but maybe more so Yin Yoga where the focus is the deeper fascia tissues. Myofascial Release works on the more superficial fascia tissues that wraps themselves closer to and within the muscles.
If we marry Yin Yoga and this technique of Myofascial Release that you are about to experience, we create a path to increased flexibility and release of tensions in the tissues that may cause physical and emotional pain, allowing us to further let go of any emotions that causes suffering.
In this workshop we will gain a deeper understanding of what Myofascia is and how it feels to move it. You will learn and experience a wide variety of ways to release your body's Myofacial sheets, by using props and asanas to increase the effect.
