In clinical practice since 1994, Elizabeth gained her diplomas at Nature Care College and Southern Cross Herbal School, and a Masters in Clinical Science (Complementary Medicine) at Southern Cross University.

Elizabeth is also a Naturopathic Trainer and Educator at Blackmores Ltd., which involves the research, design and delivery of educational workshops nationally to a wide range of health care professionals, including Naturopaths, GPs and Pharmacists.

Recently Elizabeth started lecturing in the Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Naturopathy programme at Endeavour College, Sydney.

Elizabeth believes strongly in the benefit of helping people to learn how to take control of their own wellbeing, to look after themselves via their diet and lifestyle, and how to tune into their own bodies’ responses to food and their environmental and physical envrironment. She has extensive experience in treating all ages from babies to the elderly.

An initial consultation involves taking a case history, dietary discussion and advice. Iridology is used to support the health assessment, and prescription of herbal medicine and appropriate supplementation is given where necessary. Elizabeth works closely with other health care professionals involved in the care of a client, including GPs and specialists.

Since 2010, Elizabeth has been implementing a community development project in Ethiopia to support the sustainability of traditional herbal medicine practice and herbs. See the blog at www.botanicaethiopia.com
