Yoga Trance Dance with Taru

Friday 5th Mar 2021

‘If you love yoga, dance and movement, you’re going to love this; moving from form to formlessness, from asana to free flow dance and back again’ to find spaciousness in a post-lockdown world.”

Yoga Trance Dance is free-form movement meditation to music, to liberate your creative life-force. Synthesized by Shiva Rea, Yoga Trance Dance®️ explores the spirit of dance within yoga.

We begin with yoga asana, move to a spontaneous, natural flow in asana, and then evolve to exploration free-form, breath driven movement to liberate one’s creative life force and cultivate embodied freedom.

You don’t need to have any previous experience or be a professional dancer – just be you.

As we dance in spaciousness post lock-down please respect all the measures we are taking to comply with safety protocols.
  • BYO Yoga mat
  • The studio is a large space and we are limiting the numbers to only 20 people so there will be plenty of room to express yourself while avoiding any physical contact.
  • We will be keeping the windows slightly open to ensure the room is well ventilated so you may want to make sure you have some warm clothes.
  • Please wash hands before the start of the event
  • Please do NOT attend if you have any symptoms of cough, cold, fever, fatigue or breathing difficulties
  • You agree to avoid all physical contact with other attendees
  • You will respect the minimum spacing of 1.5m between attendees (we actually have LOTS of spare space)

10% of proceeds will be donated to Climate Council Australia

Cancellation up to 48 hours prior to event date is possible subject to a $10 cancellation fee. Less than 48 hours’ notice of cancellation is only possible if we can fill your place from a wait-list.
