Let your senses come alive on the Central Coast at Narara Ecovillage for a magical day of discovery with 3 local experts guiding you into the realms of Birds, Yoga and Rainforest.

This gentle day is suitable for all ages and will help you rest deep into the wonders of nature and learn to use your senses in new ways to explore this pocket of paradise so close to Sydney.

You’ll enjoy it even with no prior experience of bird-watching or yoga.
Choose either morning or evening bird tour (as group size is strictly limited for comfort)

Delight in an early or afternoon bird tour, morning and afternoon tea, gentle yoga to take you deep into your senses then join a fascinating talk to stroll through the unique human and natural history of the local area and its rainforests.

7.45am guided bird-listening walk

9.30am  morning tea provided

10 .15–12pm Gentle yoga of the senses

 12—12.45pm Picnic Lunch (BYO lunch)

12.45.00 Village tour plus Silent forest walk

1.45 – 2.45 Natural and cultural history presentation with Peter FisherWildlife 

2.45—3.30 photographer Liz Noble shares photos and stories

Afternoon tea

3.45  – 5pm guided bird-listening walk

Weather contingency: obviously the outdoor activities will be somewhat weather-dependant but we have shelter and alternative activities if needed.

Richard’s passion for the life, habits and quirks of birds lets him share fascinating insights and stories about our local wildlife on a 90 minute guided stroll.

Mark blends 28 years of yoga & meditation with his love of nature to guide you deep into your senses to find clarity to experience Nature in a new way.

Liz Noble has a passion for photography, birds, nature and adventure.
Liz will talk about the local birds and wildlife and how photography can enrich your appreciation of the natural world.

Author and historian Peter shares lively tales of the characters and forests which form this beautiful local environment.

Narara is about 4 mins drive from Gosford on the Central Coast. There is ample free parking on site.
Or take the train to Gosford or Narara station and we can organize transfer from there by arrangement.
