Low, Slow, Flow: an earthy vinyasa practice for seasonal balance with Mark O’Brien

Saturday 29th May 2021

Sometimes we feel on top of the world. And sometimes…we don’t know why but we just feel meh ☹
Seasonal change can disrupt our happy energies, especially in the transition seasons of  late Autumn

Experience traditional Hatha yoga methods to achieve an effortless sense of balance throughout all your systems by using seasonal Asana (posture) special Pranayama (breathing practices) and some simple Meditation and lifestyle guidelines. These balance the subtle energies constantly shimmering in us (called the 5 Vayus)

My Mantra for Autumn/Winter practices is “Low, Slow, Flow”.
It is available to anyone regardless of age or ability.

I try to keep my yoga -and my teaching- simply practical and just focus on what works, not what sounds cool or spiritual. So everything I’ll share has been road-tested over many years for not very “good” yogis (like me) but offers really potent results.

I invite you to share an earthy journey to find seasonal balance with me.

Requirements: Please bring your own yoga mat (or purchase one on the day)

Cancellation up to 48 hours prior to event date is possible subject to a $5 cancellation fee. Less than 48 hours’ notice of cancellation is only possible if we can fill your place from a wait-list.

Mark O’Brien

Mark is the founder of Qi Health & Yoga in Manly and has practiced Yoga for 28 years with well over 11,000 teaching hours under his belt. He is renowned for inventive, deceptively simple but inspiring classes that offer hidden depths to students of all levels.

He remains in awe of the joyful way that skillful physical movement and attention to the breath can dramatically improve our moods, energy, health and outlook on the physical world. Flexibility – or lack of it – is of little importance in this approach, which is open to anyone who can breathe and sincerely wants to improve their life.
