What quote do you live by? Inspirational quotes changes on a daily basis based on how I feel each day. My favourite affirmation is – “be joyful, grateful and sparkling” (I made it up)
What Yoga style do you practice? Ashtanga yoga since 2012, also practice Yin or Hatha depending on how my body feels each day.
How did you start yoga? Curiosity. I was very curious to experience what yoga is about.
Can you sum up what Yoga gives to you in a few words?
Re-energise and re-set my body, mind and soul but also guides me to know myself on a deeper level.
When and where did you do your first Teacher Training?
2012 in Rishikesh, India (Ashtanga yoga TTC)

Least favourite pose? Any one legged balancing postures.
If you could study with any teacher, who wold it be and why?
I believe teacher refers to a person? If so then I am studying with Matthew Sweeney since 2019 so I haven’t thought about studying with any other teachers as yet.
Best in-class blooper?
I made a comment saying ‘this doesn’t feel right’ after instructing a posture, all the students laughed 🙂
Where would be your ultimate Yoga retreat destination? Hawaii.
What do you love most about your job? Helps me to stay healthy and well inside out.
What have you given up teaching yoga? Late nights.
What have you gained by teaching yoga? Having opportunities to learn something new and refreshing mind-set, but also having more opportunities to bring myself back to the alignment more frequently.
If you could talk to your pre-yoga self, what would you tell her?

What hobbies/activities do you have outside yoga?
Freedive? Working toward going down below 10m. Also love riding tiny peelers on a longboard.
How long have you taught at Qi? I’ve been covering classes since 2018. I began teaching weekly classes in June, 2022.
