How did you start yoga?
After 25 years of being a semi pro soccer player, injuries and very intense fitness I decided to turn to yoga.

Can you sum up what Yoga gives to you in a few words?
Yoga is love, yoga is you, yoga is nature, yoga defines my way of life. Since the only real thing is love, and through my practice I can live, feel and give love then why not share this with others?
I’m alive to share my practice and love with whomever is ready to let yoga do them, let yoga do you. Namaste.

When and where did you do your first Teacher Training?
Mexico City early 2016 but have been practicing for quite some time now.

Favourite pose? Crow pose! Bakasana

Least favourite pose? Kurmasana

If you could study with any teacher, who would it be and why? I would love to be able to practice with S. Jois in India someday.

Best in-class blooper? I don’t think I personally have one but could call out many funny student bloopers.

Where would be your ultimate Yoga retreat destination? India

What do you love most about your job?
The community and people that bring everything to life

What have you given up to teach yoga? Nothing!

What have you gained by teaching yoga? Everything! So much love, after all the students are the real teachers.

What was the best thing about COVID lock-down? Being able to practice more and to have more time for myself and partner.

If you could talk to your pre-yoga self, what would you tell her?  Trust yourself and own it, be patient let go, go with the flow, go wherever your breath takes you, accept and acknowledge the good the bad and the ugly.

What hobbies/activities do you have outside yoga?
I’m pretty intense and active, I surf, play soccer, practice thai boxing and love to camp, trek and overall spend as much time as I can close to nature and avoid indoor activity.
