The Mantra Om, is one of the most powerful phrases we chant in the yoga world - and for good reason. This mantra, and the remembrance of its true meaning is like a shortcut to experiencing the divine within. The resonance of Om is the very sound of the universe itself and is always there, underneath our day-to-day reality. When we chant Om, we litterally 'tune' ourselves to the vibration of the universe. When are are in harmony with the universe we are naturally more energised, whole and healthy.

Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative style of meditation practiced lying down, that takes the practitioner deep into Theta brainwave states where the body heals itself, and is the source of our creative insights. Nyasa is the ancient tantric practice that is the precursor to Yoga Nidra, in which the practitioner mentally places mantras into different parts of the body, in order to cleanse, purify and harmonise the body with the universe.

This two hour workshop will combine lecture, Om chanting, very gentle asana ( movement to prepare the body to lie down ) and Yoga Nidra.

After this workshop you can expect to feel like you're in tune with the universe, deeply rested & connected to something bigger.
