Tanya offers nurturing, relaxing aromatherapy treatments harnessing the healing powers of nature. Promoting relaxation and rejuvenation of the mind, body and spirit, these are individually focused therapies of the highest quality.
Building on her experience with remedial and aromatherapy massage, the use and prescription of essential oils and the chakras and energy system of the body, her treatments work to restore all aspects of the self into a state of harmony and balance.
ABOUT AROMATHERAPY
Far from being a recent discovery, essential oils, attars and extracts have been used for thousands of years. Their properties for healing, improving moods and creating a sense of sacred space since these times are well documented.
Modern aromatherapy was born when French scientist Renè Gattefossè burnt his hand in a laboratory. Plunging it into the closest beaker, he observed that the pain was reduced and the skin healed remarkably well. The beaker contained lavender essential oil, and Gattefossè was so intrigued that he spent the rest of his career researching the properties of essential oils.
Essential oils are sourced from all over the world, from many types of plants. Tanya uses only the highest quality, therapeutic grade essential oils so you can rest assured that you are receiving the maximum benefit of the oils used during your treatments.
