ART THERAPY COUNSELOR
Lisa works from the premise that through exploring and expressing our personal journeys, we are able to uncover the stones that shape our lives. The increase in self-awareness through exploring our inner and outer world frees us from old patterns of behaviour and unlocks the doorway to meeting the challenges of life with confident competence.
With early training as a teacher in the Montessori and Steiner educational systems, Lisa advanced her skills to become a traditional therapist, counselling patients with issues ranging from low self-esteem, intense grief and trauma and addictions. Lisa worked in this arena for many years before furthering her studies to include a University Degree in Social Work majoring in Clinical Psychology.
In an emotionally supportive environment, Lisa gently – and effectively – draws on her rich array of tools and experience to facilitate meaningful change.
Her own journey has led her to acquire a unique blend of multi-disciplinary approaches with direct application to a range of life challenges
- Art Therapy
- Counselling
