GIRLS ONLY! Yoga & Creativity School Holiday Workshop with Liz Taverner

Do you want your kids to learn how to cope in this busy, modern world? Experts agree children need to be taught the skills of mindfulness in order to thrive and the good news is that it can also be heaps of fun!

These creative workshops have been especially designed to teach these skills of awareness as well as promote self-expression, confidence, creativity, resilience, focus and calm. The afternoons are imaginative, high-energy and fun, as well as educational and relaxing. Each workshop includes yoga, games, mindfulness, meditation, reflection and the creation of an awesome craft to take home.

 

Girls Only! Self-Development Workshop, Ages 8 – 12

In this special workshop, tween girls will come together in circle to share, grow and create. We’ll be looking at our strengths and what makes us each special as well as what areas we’d like to grow in. Then, the girls will create their own magic essential oil blend fragrance to help them move in the right direction, decorating their spray bottle to take home.

We’ll be building self-worth, confidence and identity through fun activities and yoga poses, as the girls prepare to move into their transformative teen years. They’ll leave understanding themselves better and with crucial coping skills under their belt for when life throws challenges their way.

These school holidays the kids have done a mix of activities from cheerleading camp, tennis, and robotics, through to bowling, movies, and water slides.
