The ART of FLOW is designed to support optimal movement performance and postural function with greater ease. Together we will further develop an understanding of human movement and natural biomechanical rhythms.

Vincent strips back developmental movement to its seed form to explore functionality, integration and balance from both an experiential and scientific prospective. The artistry of moving from an internal form will integrate of both eastern and western philosophy and methodologies and will not only enhance skill, grace and poise on all levels but also support, reintegrate and rehabilitate patterns of misuse.

FUNDAMENTALS of FLOW
Friday June 21st: 6.40 – 8.40pm: Freshwater Studio

In this two hour workshop we will be exploring the subtle aspects of breath and intention, discovering the artistry of internal flow and form. Through dialogue and experience of movement we will begin to investigate our intentions verses our current relationship to individual function of our physical, mental and energetic needs.

You will go away with a expanded perspective of internal flow and how you can infuse that experience into the way you move and express yourself, in asana, in relationship and in life.

THE FOUNDATIONS of FLOW
Saturday June 22nd – 2pm-5.30pm: Freshwater Studio

At the heart of flow lives our relationship to Life. In this three hour workshop we will explore the anatomy of breath by investigating the bio-mechanics and postural tendencies of the body. Students will uncover the ancient art of Pranayama and it’s relevance to the modern world and begin to establish a relationship between the connective matrix of the diaphragm and associated muscles. When we embody the system of breathing movement will arise and flow will be felt. Once this is experienced a lifetime of expression opens up to us and our practice becomes our own.

INTRODUCTION to HANSA YOGA THERAPY
Sunday June 23rd – 9am-4pm at Qi Manly (Chandra Studio)

This Hañsa Therapy workshop®️ is designed to support optimal movement performance and postural function with greater ease. Through Hañsa Therapy®️ we will further develop an understanding of human movement and natural bio-mechanical rhythms. We will strip back the yoga practice to its essence to explore functionality, integration and balance from both an experiential and scientific prospective.

The artistry of moving from an internal form will be discussed through the integration of both eastern and western philosophy and methodologies. Hañsa Therapy®️ will unravel and engage our movement habits in a way that will evoke a greater postural re-connection. This will not only enhance skill, grace and poise on all levels but also support, reintegrate and rehabilitate patterns of misuse.

Within this practice we consider the spectrum of human body movement in a safe and adaptive manner. By creating a supportive dialogue and appropriateness of movement we will begin to investigate our intentions, thus adapting the yoga model to suit the needs of an individual. When those needs are met we then meet the needs of our daily life.
