Yoga helps build suppleness, strengthen the spine and develop balance. It also teaches us to experience a profound happiness and contentment with life, in tune with the elements and our environment . . .
The parallels with surfing are therefore endless!
In this workshop you will:
  • Learn specific yoga postures and sequences to prepare your body for surfing
  • Build awareness of the breath and calm your mind
  • Increase energy (prana) in the body
  • Increase flexibility and balance for lightness, clarity and balance
  • Strengthen your back


Cancellation up to 48 hours prior to event date is possible subject to a $5 cancellation fee. Less than 48 hours’ notice of cancellation is only possible if we can fill your place from a wait-list.


Maurice Eberlein

Maurice is a free spirit, a passionate surfer and devoted yogi. His classes are flowing, dynamic and elegantly sequenced to bring a glow to your cheeks and a smile to your spirit as he coaches you to find new ways to develop inner strength and resolve.

Expect a workout to challenge you and keep you –and your body- vital and happy. If you’re lucky he’ll even chant at the end of your practice… Your smile will be as wide as the ocean as you leave feeling alive, relaxed and centred! He graduated from the prestigious Qi Hatha Yoga Diploma in 2005 and has taught full-time for many years as he continues his studies in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with the legendary Eileen Hall.
