After dark there is plenty of time to sample the local nightlife right on your door-step with tempting restaurants, happy hour cocktails and live music if you wish. Fun is encouraged as part of a balanced yoga week!
Our aim is for you to enjoy a well-earned, healthy holiday in gorgeous surroundings, with the opportunity to practice yoga & meditation twice per day. There is no compulsion to attend all sessions, but they will build sequentially as your stay unfolds.
Mornings will offer creative, flowing asana sequences, sun salutations, and invigorating pranayama (breathing) practices, with time for deep relaxation.
Afternoons will be an individually-tailored rejuvenating restorative or Yin yoga session to give a totally yummy boost of energy and sense of well-being!
Our teaching includes all the tools of yoga (postures/breathing/focus/relaxation) to lead you in a spiritual and holistic practice. Asana (posture) practice is adapted to your physical and energetic state on the day.
Our prime concern is your safety, so sessions will be adapted to suit all levels of experience – even for those with injuries are welcome.

About Narasoma resort:
A peaceful sanctuary right in the heart of Ubud. There are 8 air-conditioned twin-share or double rooms. Almost brand new but built in traditional Balinese-style with generous balcony and beautiful gardens.
Facilities include a roof top yoga studio, workshop area, communal kitchen, dining area, swimming pool, meditation cave and spiritual library, gardens and spa treatments.
We are located 60m from the soccer pitch in central Ubud off Monkey Forest Road within easy walk of literally 100’s of amazing cafes, bars, restaurants and shops, temple dancing and other cultural icons.
Meet Your Teachers:
Mark is the founder of Qi Health & Yoga and has practiced Yoga for 24 years with well over 10,000 teaching hours under his belt. He holds Senior/Level 3 membership of YogaAustralia. This is his 9th retreat he’s hosted in Bali so he knows and loves the local culture and people.
You’ll find his teaching lively and often irreverent whilst respecting the ancient traditions of Yoga. With a gentle but intense Vinyasa style, he pays great attention to sequencing and breath in order to prepare the body & mind to receive the profound benefits of yoga.
Mark uses self-inquiry (swadhyaya) to inspire your curiosity to explore how to be truly happy through an organic, playful, grounded and mindful approach using all the tools of yoga, not just postures.
He focuses on developing practical skills that will transform the quality of your daily life. (There’s no point in learning the perfect head-stand if it doesn’t make your life happier in some way!)
Carolina has been practicing Yoga for over 14 years and is a graduate of the Qi Teacher Training diploma. She is one of Qi’s most popular teachers for good reason, combining passion and skill in Hatha and restorative yoga with qualifications in Yin Yoga. Expect a calm, beautiful and soulful Brazilian mix to spice up your yoga and your retreat.
Her practice is founded on continuous exploration mixing passion, acceptance, curiosity and discipline. She is constantly looking for advanced knowledge aiming to widen and grow as a teacher studying advanced techniques with internationally acclaimed teachers to share with her many students.
Carolina is a supportive and inspiring teacher, sharing a sense of discipline yet with lightness, joy and ease.

Bali is the perfect backdrop to experience the magic of yoga. If you want to recalibrate or deepen your practice there’s no better way. Mark is so generous with his knowledge and gentle in his practice. we’ve learned a lot about ourselves and yoga and our practice – and still had a holiday!

I have never felt so relaxed physically and internally. I feel calm, centred and peaceful. It gave me an opportunity to step back and look at what is important in my life.
A sense of slowing down. I would recommend it for the balance that having two teachers gives you and how they explain the same thing slightly differently so it can be understood by more people in a diverse group.
