Psychotherapy and Counselling can help individuals achieve greater self awareness, self confidence and self esteem, enabling them to achieve their full potential.
What is counseling?
How can it benefit me?
Life today just seems to get more and more demanding.
We are constantly reacting /responding to the world around us - our interactions and relationships with partners, family, friends or colleagues consume our day.
Social media, for personal and/or professional use, requires instant decisions, often without time for assessment or reflection. Time management is becoming an obsolete skill as we get hooked into the frantic cycle of movement and noise, internal and external.
What suffers in this chaos?...
- Emotions- perhaps you experience increasing uncomfortable feelings – anywhere on the scale from nervousness to panic.
- Health - headaches, abdominal pains, chest pains or back pain.
- Sleep deprivation - can’t get to sleep or can’t stay asleep.
- Mind - Periods of confusion, self-doubt, ambivalence, fear or uncertainty.
- Relationships – Increasing conflict, frustration or resentment.
- Mood instability – Ok one minute, depressed or angry the next.
- Social interaction – rapid swings from wanting to be with people to wanting to be alone -nothing “feels” right.
Perhaps you can relate to one or more of these things and if so, there are strategies to help you gain control and feel greater confidence in dealing with all elements in your life.
Counseling is a way to assist you to take control.
Explore and understand how you make decisions, the way you act, and how these behaviours impact your daily functioning. By taking control you have the opportunity to make the changes required to create the life you want!
